In the process of this developmental stage, cloud tops have warmed in the past couple hours. I only imaging as the sunsets and we move into the overnight hours, we'll see a new explosion of convective activity.

I really thought Isaac would have developed and wound up more today. The tradition bad side, NE quadrant, (which I have been dreading because it's forecast to go over my area) still doesn't seem to have developed. And I'm not complaining!!
One thing that has changed this afternoon is that the ULL to the SW of Isaac that was rotating dry air into yesterday is now well south and that is why the southern quadrant has improved so much, little by little is mixing out the dry air in the eastern quadrant.
