...LIGHT FREEZE EXPECTED ACROSS CENTRAL LOUISIANA...
.A cold and dry airmass will continue to spill into the region in the wake of the front that moved through Tuesday night. Surface winds are forecast to decrease through the night as high pressure settles into the area, and along with a clear sky, this will allow temperatures to steadily fall after sunset. Readings at or below freezing are expected to occur during the overnight hours into early Thanksgiving morning, warming above freezing after sunrise.

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 2 AM to 8 AM CST Thursday.
* TEMPERATURE...28 TO 32 DEGREES.
* IMPACTS...Freezing temperatures could damage unprotected vegetation.
A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
