Rain here in Norco has slacked significantly in the lat 15 minutes but the highest water i have seen outside since April 2004 when i had 7 inches of water in my house.

Using the toggle feature, on GRLevel3, the most in the metro New Orleans area was 8.25. in the Hahnville/Norco area. Water did enter a number of homes, in that area. imgur.com/6PvCsrU

Pretty bad here in Bogalusa. A lot of roads closed due to flooding and people had to rescued from their homes. I heard the west side of Washington Parish got the worst of it.
Sometimes I wonder who I was before the lightning struck and I was no more.
The Tangipahoa River at Robert is thankfully cresting today just below major flood stage. The Tchefuncte River at Covington should be cresting tomorrow, only about 2 feet below record levels.
