Based on what local weatherpeople have said, this storm seems to be pretty intense. Thoughts? Time frame for SELA?
The leading edge is passing the Baton Rouge area. Main threat is large hail. Overall, the severe threat is not high enough to warrant a watch, however many of these storms could reach severe criteria...again, pretty much for hail.

Not sure if you're asking about a particular storm or the system as a whole, but it's rolling into BR right now. I can hear pretty consistent thunder in the distance and one cell had my eye for a bit due west of me, but it looks like it's losing its punch. The storms to the south of me look pretty potent, though.
