Fearmongering/Wishcasting Sites

I reported a "Joe Blow" weather Facebook page to Facebook way earlier this morning due to the fact that that the moderator of such page was saying that New Orleans will still see catastrophic flooding from Barry before all's said and done. The graphics this joker had any of our 5 year olds could have done a better job of creating! It's highly dangerous to do something like that in that it creates needless public panic and it totally makes a mockery of meteorology and our public officials! I only trust this site and the meteorologists on here and the ones on FOX 8 and ones like John Gumm and others that were in the New Orleans market at one point. I have seen that Facebook has removed such page and I will continue reporting on fearmongering and wishcasting sites and hope that others do the same!

To everyone I implore you to only trust this site and the meteorologists on here and moderators/administrators on here and your local meteorologists and public officials. Do not put stock into any other "Joe Blow" weather sites out there and please tell everyone you know to do the same.
