Right now, Super Weekend is looking dry with temperatures in the 40's for Endymion Saturday then a little warmer Sunday through Mardi Gras Day. Mardi Gras Day is in the 60's with a lot of rain, but thankfully it's all the way at the end of the GFS so that'll change.

EPS and especially the GEFS members are BRUTAL in their long range forecasts. Arctic air straight from Siberia from via cross polar flow. Hope their wrong. I’m so sick of this cold!

You??? LOL! Thought you loved this stuff.

If it’s not snowing I’m not interested. I’m sick of walking around in subfreezing temperatures. If it’s not snowing it might as well be 70 degrees.

I feel the same. I hope the cold holds off until after Mardi Gras. Because we will be in Miami, key West and the Bahamas on a cruise. And with a very strong cold front sometimes temps will still get in the 60's even there. Too chilly to get in the water. We already paid for atlantis waterpark.
I am having trouble posting it, but the 12Z GFS has fr. rain/sleet around on Mardi Gras day. It has shown this before, backs off and now brings it back. FWIW this far out.
Now the GFS has no precip and highs in the low 70's for Mardi Gras day. Wow, talk about inconsistent!
I was giving Zack a hard time yesterday when he put out the super long range forecast for Mardi Gras on facebook, about it changing every 6 hours at times until at least next Tuesday if not Thursday, lol.
Hopefully this is right. The latest HRRR (as of this post), keeps the heaviest rains north of the area with only spotty, hit or miss showers along the parade corridor. This would be for 6pm if correct:
