I am an Endymion rider, and keeping our fingers crossed. But its not looking good. I'm here model watching like we have a tropical system in the gulf. What is everyone's gut telling them? Complete washout? Any chances for rain to be early or later and what is the determining factor behind those possibilities?

Way too soon, to say for sure. Could turn out to be a game day decision. That being said, I remember several years ago, when they postponed it, because of very likely, severe weather. Never materialized, and didn't rain a bit, that night.
Any chance of it NOT being a washout this weekend? I couldn't care any less about Mardi Gras parades - I'm supposed to be building a fence in my back yard this weekend and have $1,000 worth of materials being delivered this week. I was hoping to knock it out before the weekend is over and this rain threat is really putting a kink in my plans. Of course, I'm sure if it were going to be 30 degrees this weekend we'd be talking about the possibility of any moisture not even making it to the ground!
