We are planning a snow chase now. Either a few hours, a day or overnight. Will use the four wheel drive diesel Ford although I think roads should be fine. Also have a fantastic free place to stay in Greensburg ( St. Helena ) if it’s a Northshore event. You gonna go retired Mr. Harmonica Man ! LOL! We could take one or two other weather nerds if interested. Don’t let money be an issue if anyone really wants to go. It won’t be much and not a problem. No crazy.,criminal, or crack! Will leave out of Metairie with a stop on the Northshore to pickup at least one there then heading north as dictated by the event. Details to follow as things unfold.
I might be chasing too, either Nashville or Guntersville AL... depending on who might get the most snow... right now leaning towards Guntersville... daughter lives on top of a mountain... but only will chase if I know I can see 3 inches or so! Will decide either on Sunday or Monday morning... good luck to anyone chasing!

The 18Z GFS at 6AM on Tuesday has the Red Stick at 34 while the previous run has us at 36, so it is trending colder. I think this could be quick changeover process but it will be in and out. I wonder what the area schools will do? They freak out with just the mention of FROZEN Precip.
