Roundup from yesterday...sleet and snow in south Texas, wind and large hail in Louisiana, tornadoes in Mississippi and flooding in Florida. We had it all!
Cool graphis...can you post the link so I can see the whole image? I see it's the NWS

Shibumi-Mandeville I-12/Hwy59 it's the NWS EDD site. Pretty cool site I've been using for years, but they don't have optimum support when it comes to their server. It goes down pretty often and sometimes takes a day or so to get it back up. They do have a FB page as well for this site.

We had some pretty stout rain in the Brusly area, and I think we got some hail. It was in the middle of the night, though, and I didn't get up to check. It sure sounded like hail.
Thanks Sky...yeah I've used that for temps and precip. I need to okay around with the menu to see what I can find.
I know I've been somewhat critical of the NWS in my posts....but to be clear it has nothing to do with their forecasting...I go there first for all my forecast needs... I just wish the regions acted more like they are part of the same entity...there is very little continuity between them for products and graphics. But that is what you get from an underfunded government organization.

Light snow radar central Mississippi. Probably not reaching the ground. Some type of wind max or surge coming through SE La right now. 51mph at Lakefront Airport!

Looks like snow showers....just most is melting before reaching the ground. The radar returns have that look

Correlation Coefficient ftw here. There's a lot of melting happening aloft. I suspect you're right.

Winds are whipping up pretty good here in the Quarter. Sorry, but I'm too sleepy and lazy to go in the other room to check the weather station.
