down to 70f and the rain is steady . not to much thunder or lightning . not really no wind just the summer type cool feels good to make u sleepy kind of weather. shouldnt this help calm the storms later if this keeps up ?

Even though the main severe risk is far to the NW these I-55 n I-10 storms are the unexpected type I talked about earlier. It’s just that time of year and the Gulf is an absolute huge monster contributor of excessive energy right now. These small and large disturbances can tap off of that quickly. We’ll see if some of this and those expected tomorrow morning actually have anything left when they get to SE LA.At some point soon we will catch storm and or rain hell. Tornado warning now Tangipahoa.
I have to wonder who does the weather forecasts on the local news websites. They have 10% of rain till midnight The forecasts on those websites are always awful. They can't be done by local meteorologists.
