TROPICAL STORM MARCO (continued in the Laura thread)

In fact 6z Euro takes a weak Marco to LA now.

I just double checked, it also has Marco going over the peninsula, not through the channel. It is over the lower land, but none the less, more east, and no dry land.

Big blow up around center this morning, is this a sign of rapid strengthening, first visible images are impressive.

Well then...50 - 60kt winds! that's 60-70mph wind...and really not a west component

Just out of curiosity, how does Marco’s setup compare with Camille’s. Not implying anything. Just curious and looking for a learning opportunity.

Ok, we have both storms coming into the gulf, we know that. An where they end up at this point nobody really knows. So the question is, even if Louisiana doesn’t get a direct hit, what effects do you’ll see south Louisiana getting as these storms move across the gulf??
