Wow, I’ve written off Marco much of the time since he was born but I woke up, read the updates here, and am now following both very closely. With a much further north position and a stronger system, he may well find his home in southern Louisiana IMO.

Interesting that the early track of Marco has shifted east, but the endpoint is roughly the same as earlier tracks. Wondering if the endpoint will eventually 'snap' eastward, making less of a left turn, or if that really will be the track? Is the high pressure further north and west supposed to build in to the east, preventing a continued northerly track?
