I thought I would start a thread on the tropical wave coming off the African coast figuring it will be Invest 95L soon.
A tropical wave is forecast to emerge off the west coast of Africa on Thursday. Gradual development is expected once the system moves over water, and a tropical depression is likely to form late this week or over the weekend while the system moves generally westward across the eastern tropical Atlantic.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...50 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...80 percent.

I pray swla doesn't have to deal with 2 majors this season.
Me too, lawxnut. Laura was not a lady to us and we're currently trying to clean and rebuild.
Not a professional forecast by any means and should not be viewed as such - just my opinion. I cannot figure out way the NHC has not already given this an invest designation. I mean it is already at 60/90% yet no invest 94L was briefly at 40% and it was designated. I am baffled.
