Can anybody tell me much of anything WRT what's going to happen near Fort Polk, given the current condition? Temp 55, East wind about 10mph. Drizzle.
If the cold front's cold air is already here without causing much violence, doesn't that bode very well for later today? If the air mass that's here is already very cool, my guess is that the full cold front arrival won't cause much violent weather.
Does my wild guess make any sense? Thanks.
Permit me this small lapse into human emotion. I hate Hurricanes and Tornadoes. Live long and prosper.

I do think the potential is ahead of the front
How can we know where the front is right now?

I love seeing towns I recognize and have been to....
Sleet starting to mix in with the rain at Medina Lake west of San Antonio and snow is starting to accumulate on roadways in Rock Springs. Would love to have a winter storm move across Louisiana at some point this winter!
We'll be in southwest Oklahoma for Mardi Gras week so hopefully we can get lucky up there.
