Great for u! I preach that all year long. We are putting them in family, neighborhood, and friends if you have seen some of my posts! Doing 3 this Spring.
Ours is being installed on the 13th! Been a long time coming. Soooo excited!
I’m happy for u! It really is life changing. Trying to survive an extensive power outage in a Louisiana climate is very difficult if not dangerous for some people. I recommend anybody thinking about it do it now. There is quite a backlog exacerbated by the pandemic. I ordered one for the classic “lil ole single lady” down the street from Norwall Power Systems. Great company. She bought a Generac and they can’t even give her a delivery date.
As long as it's not hitting me....closest I've seen is hitting the metal in the street concrete in front of my house when I was young.....i could see the bolt and branches in my retina every time I blinked for a while
The kind of night I wish I had a plexiglass dome on my roof to lay and watch the lightning...
Well.....we don't get the northern lights this far south so....
About 30 years ago, when we were still living in Jackson MS on the Reservoir, we actually had the Northern Lights there! I think it was the same year that Pelahatchie Bay froze over. Seeing the Northern Lights was the most incredible experience that I've ever had!!! It hadn't happened since weather records were kept and has never happened again. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
