I’ve also been around since WWLTV days. I liked Gris a lot, he was one of my favorites. Always enjoyed his contributions. However I saw what he said to the moderator and i was really disappointed and shocked by his misogyny. It was not just hot tempers, he really went off in a really inappropriate way, changed how I saw him and personally I’m so over putting up w that kind of crap. But whatever. I have mixed feelings over whether or not I’d root for him to come back, I’ll just leave it up to whoever makes the decisions. 🤷‍♀️

Like I said don’t know the particulars of the exchange but Gris is a valuable member of this forum and I would love to see him back. During this difficult time we need to show each other some grace - one never know what others are going through.

In my opinion, she should have had her emotions in check and been more measured.

So, I disagree with your statement, "what happened, happened and that is that.". No. This should not have happened the way it did given the circumstances.

9PM 9/14/21: We are far from over with the potential for hazardous weather associated with Tropical Depression Nicholas. Where does all this rain come from ? i see nothing on satellite. everything has pushed by us, and the swirl is still way back in Texas right ? Is the 6-10” of rain a bust at this point, or does the swirl have any chance of firing back up ? I thought I read earlier it wasn’t going to refire

When I was a little boy way back in 1969, we went down to my Great Aunt Lucille's on a Aug. Sunday afternoon to watch Nash to see which way Camille was headed. She had one of those rotating antennas, the kind with the box on the TV and we could get New Orleans. My Great Aune Cille told me: "One of these days your gonna be the next Nash Roberts and I replied: "No I'm not, I'm gonna be a preacher. Today, I am a pastor and I love Tropical Meteorology. I've tracked every storm in the last 50 years. I even run a Tropical Tracker Group on facebook, but as a pastor, I would say our standing is all about God's Grace. Where would we be if it wasn't for the Grace of God? We have all messed up and made mistakes. With Laura, Delta, Zeta, Ida, and Tropical Storm Nicholas, these are trying times for us in the great state of LA. Yes, we all mess up! I'm for giving Gris another chance!

Now on to Nicholas - I’m sure hoping the dry air wins out and storms don’t reform overnight to impact the already devastated areas of S La - Although those who know way more than myself are indicating we may see more storms forming overnight and into tomorrow morning. 😔
