Daily Fall/Winter Weather Discussion Thread - 2022

How awesome is it, that this year, we will be receiving our first real cold front, on the first day of fall?!?!

Crazy we're going to get fall weather for fall!

My dad up in northern Utah reports the front has pushed through. Smoke cleared out.

So this is the first "fall" cold front here. NWS PUB forecast for my location:

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 33. West northwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 57. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 19. North northwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 63. West northwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 26. West wind 5 to 15 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 70. West northwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 27. West wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 69. West wind 10 to 15 mph.

No snow here, but a few solid freezes. Plus the high tomorrow not getting into the 60s. Hot chocolate time y'all. 

And it's coming for y'all.

Time to bump this forum up over the summer one!

Currently 39 here at 10 pm. 

A few clouds and a little breeze keeping it from really bottoming out. Teens look unlikely, low 20s more like it. What I am starting to notice is I've got lows below freezing going forward on the forecast. Can't imagine I'll have too many more above freezing nights this year.
