I’m thinking around Sunday we would get a solid idea of a N Gulf issue if ever. Guess it could be the classic Florida / Louisiana connection. Hell, what about the trifecta? Florida, mouth of the river, then Mississippi! Man I hope not. Loooong Loooong way to go.

My thoughts exactly. The fact that the NHC track and the consensus models are starting to bend back towards the west in the final countdown as it were is giving me the heebie-jeebies just a little. One thing to consider, too..........after land interaction with Hispaniola will have it enough to keep chugging? One thing that amazes me is that it is still chugging along decently in spite of the fact that it is sucking in a tremendous amount of dry air where it's at. I know wind shear values may be low, but still.
