This done deal business needs to stop. Plain and simple. Too many factors still to call anything a done deal. PLUS not everyone on this board lives in NOLA or SE LA. We have people living in Central LA, SW LA, and even Texas. So please again stop creating posts like this.
DO you know what an opinion is??? I do not live in NOLA or Central La. I live on the coast. I sit here all day long and look at you guys give what you think will happen. I believe what the pros say not what I wish woulod happen. YES it could very well change but I would get it worse at this point then BR or anywhere in central La. and im am not worried about it anymore. Every model shows the SAME thing over and over and over. I hope it plows right into Mexico and leaves everyone alone, but please dont get pissed at people because they have a different OPINION then yours!!! I am not a pro and do not claim to be. Sorry to be so point blank but this is really getting bad when u can not express an opinion on this board.
The problem with your post is your opinion does not have anything to back it up with. The NHC even mentions high uncertainty remains. If you're going to go ahead and give an opinion that you believe is set in stone, you NEED to back it up. That's one of the rules here. Opinions are great, but you need to have something to back it up. The models have NOT been showing the same thing. They've been swinging around for days now. Until we get a TIGHT consensus for at least 48 hours, things will change.
By no means this is a done deal. If you truly strongly feel that way, please respond with meteorological reasoning to back up you statement.
