"JUICY" feederband rotating up onto the Florida beaches. Looks like it's across Navarre but Okaloosa and South Walton looking to get in on it in a little while.
Did anybody noticed the 12z euro? 959mb tomorrow morning? Who knows when yesterday we were questioning it when it was showing it was going to be 977 for today. But, if it wasn't that the euro has had problems with intensity forecast most often than not, I would had bought it. But I leave the benefict of doubt because the GFS also forecasts it to keep deepening until tomorrow morning by another 6 mb.
So far we still have power here in Harahan. The highest wind gust recorded was 37mph. Am already feeding my 2 neighbors and parents, not cuz of power outage, but because their nerves are too frayed to cook a real meal. : ))
Isaac continues to remind me of Irene. Very broad wind field and without deep persistent convection near the inner core we aren't getting winds to contract. Thus, a storm with this structure typically won't deepen rapidly.
