THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI
EFFECTIVE THIS THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 520 PM UNTIL
1100 PM CST.
TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS
TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.
THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 40 STATUTE
MILES NORTH AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 15 MILES WEST OF NATCHEZ
MISSISSIPPI TO 15 MILES EAST NORTHEAST OF PINE BELT MISSISSIPPI.
