FROM ALABAMA STATE LINE TO MOUTH OF MISSISSIPPI RIVER...
.A DEVELOPING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM EMERGING OFF THE NORTHEASTERN
TIP OF THE YUCATAN PENINSULA WILL BE INTERACTING WITH HIGH
PRESSURE SITUATED OVER THE EASTERN UNITED STATES. EASTERLY AND
SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS WILL BE INCREASING STEADILY THROUGH
FRIDAY...BRINGING TIDES TO ELEVATED LEVELS...PARTICULARLY ALONG
EAST-FACING SHORES. THE SYSTEM IN THE LOWER GULF OF MEXICO IS
LIKELY TO DEVELOP INTO A TROPICAL DEPRESSION OR TROPICAL STORM
TODAY WHILE MOVING TOWARDS THE NORTH GULF. COASTAL FLOOD WATCHES
MAY BECOME REPLACED BY TROPICAL WATCHES AND WARNINGS LATER TODAY
