The NHC track for Jose not only tracks it as being a fish but also forecasts Jose to weaken to a Tropical Storm. Can someone explain? I suppose that Jose is forecast to skim Northward just to the West of that Atlantic High. Why would it weaken? Maybe some wind shear? Thanks.

Tonight's 00z Euro has Jose headed towards South Florida in Ten Days, now that would be something. I don't recall storms stalling out over the Atlantic for so long.
In fact, it showed something similar in the 12z from Wed as well
Not going to lie...I was hoping maybe this was the year we'd see a little Fujiwhara effect in the Atlantic given the number of storms. Guess that would be rather terrifying.

hey sky i see irma in ga here jose behind and out a little another one that comes of africa but what about the one that forms off the coast up by maine? it that would happen would that or the thing above it be part of the named storms if they turn into storms?
