The ICON, the GFS, and the EURO are about as consistent as they can possibly be, folks; I mean they are just about literal carbon copies of each other. Regardless of what ensembles may look like, the data is indicating an initial landfall around the southern tip of of FLA and then riding up the peninsula and re-emerging into the Atlantic and making a secondary landfall in GA/SC.

I highly recommend you read the 10 p.m. disco by the NHC; it explains the variables about as well as they can be explained.

The EURO model as depicted on Windy.com, shows gust into CAT 5 range. "Ground Zero" would appear to be from near Boca Roatan to Port St Lucie along the FL East Coast. This entire area is VERY populated, rich and extremely vulnerable to any type of Hurricane, much less a strong CAT 4 bearing down on the coast.

If this verifies as all models are agreeing, a strike along the East Coast of FL, this will potentially be more devastating than Hurricane Michael last year. Micheal made landfall in Mexico Beach, FL, one of the least populated areas along the Panhandle but still caused catastrophic damage throughout.

With Dorian bearing down on a much more populated and dense, developed area at such and similar intensity as Michael. This will be a huge problem along an extremely large portion of Florida

I'm leaving out with a convoy of ambulances this morning, and headed to Gainesville, FL for staging. Saturday morning, we will then deploy south to begin pre-storm evacuations of healthcare facilities in the path of Hurricane Dorian.
