Is anyone else mental about watching all the launches, and especially the landings, of the SpaceX vehicles? I'm loving it!
Bummed that the Starship hopper hop test was aborted again today.
You can definitively sign me up. I love watching every single launch. The guy has made it look simple but took a lot of hard work and determination. Congrats to him for not giving up.

I'm loving every minute of it. Amazing transparency I think hasn't been seen in any industry.

Booster BN3 headed to the test pad. 215 feet tall plus the transport and stand.....it doesn't fit in the shot that shows the car in front well so I included another one. Cool. No fins installed on this one...it will be a test vehicle....for the fuel tank and structure under cryo.
Richard Branson flies out into space; myself, I'm keeping my feet on terra firma on good 'ol planet oith as Bugs Bunny once said to the Martian character.

Watched it on NASASpaceFlight Youtube feed (an independent news feed that covers all things space only).
Also read Musk went to visit Branson and showed up at 3 AM in his kitchen to wish him luck. They had an all-nighter and we're staying together. Kind of cool.
I like the tech with the Virgin space plane..but it only had a goal of space tourism (albeit 5 minutes of it). To me it's a bit of a waste. It doesn't come close to orbital speed and the only weightless time is due to its flight path to induce it (if they even do that).

BN3 Starship Booster conducted its first static fire test this evening.
Only 3 raptor engines were installed.
BN3 is a pathfinder ship and will not fly. After they finish the testing they want it will likely be scrapped.
Amazing how they are developing their spacecraft. A 230 foot tall, 30-foot diameter pathfinder. Amazing.
Looking at how much is kicked up in just a 3 engine, 3-second static fire test, and how loud it was miles away......it's hard to imagine 30ish of those engines firing all at once.
Hopefully the first test flight (BN4+SN20) jumps off the pad quickly before it destroys the ground equipment.

Lift to launch table has begun.....assuming they don't abort the attempt.
The amazing thing to me is how exposed the engines are below the end of the booster. I can only guess since this is not planned to land or be 'caught', they don't care. I'm not sure the max velocity the booster will see to get to orbit...and whether any of the exposed tubing will be damaged by it during flight??????

Starship 20 (S20) rolling to the launch pad...along with a GSE tank.
Most heat tiles are installed but many missing....curious if this first flight will go as is to see how entry plasma heating affects the ship both with and without the tiles
This may just be a fit test for stacking on the booster, so perhaps after it is moved right back to fan.

T-minus 15 minutes to launch of Inspiration4.
You can watch it on multiple feeds on Youtube.
Search Inspiration4 and SpaceX, Netflix, or look for NasaSpaceFlight for third party hosting (there are more).
You can donate through any of the feeds to St Judes Hospital....all live feeds are accepting donations and all these channels profits from the steam are 100% donated to St Judes....so even minus an actual dollar donation, just watching one of the feeds adds to the donation.
