I still remember Mike's & Zack's live cast in the early hurricane season of 2005 like it was yesterday (correct me if I'm wrong, it might have been a couple of more years). If memory serves me correct they were talking about the models' medium to long range forecasts signaling a busy period.

Was that the WWL weather forum? I remember keeping up with Katrina and getting the first reports from the models and moderators on here that Katrina’s track was going much more west than predicted. I think Zack was still in high school

Crazy that it has been already 20 years and the active period of the Atlantic is still here getting close to 30 years since it began.
