SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA...ASCENSION...EAST BATON ROUGE...EAST
FELICIANA...IBERVILLE...LIVINGSTON...POINTE COUPEE...ST.
HELENA...ST. TAMMANY...TANGIPAHOA...WASHINGTON...WEST BATON
ROUGE AND WEST FELICIANA. IN SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI...AMITE...

* THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING
* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AHEAD OF A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT WILL
CONTINUETO INCREASE IN COVERAGE THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. A
MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS WILL RESULT IN A THREAT OF HEAVY
RAINFALL THROUGH THURSDAY. RAINFALL TOTALS OF TWO TO THREE
INCHES ARE POSSIBLE WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS THROUGH
THURSDAY.
* HEAVY RAINFALL RATES IN EXCESS OF TWO INCHES OR MORE IN AN HOUR
MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS... SMALL STREAMS AND
AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE.
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
