Korey, the airplane flies at a static pressure level that never changes. When a storm deapens the height of the column decreases because of the lower pressure and you can see that from fix to fix.
Looking at the satelite, it looked like Isaac took a signfircant jog to the north. Every jog to the north should be good news for Terrebonne and further west.
Before the 4:00 came out i thought it was said on the board that the winds seemed to be 85 mph? How come the NHC does not show that? Was it gusts and not sustained?

Maybe I'm wrong but I remember in years past that the very end of a loop is always very deceiving for direction. I don't remember why though.
