Looking at the zoomed in 10am update, Baton Rouge is now projected to be in the NE quad very close to the center. People better hope he starts to degrade before he hits there.

Just my thoughts, I don't think we'll be seeing a weakening storm at landfall. At minimum, we'll be seeing a storm that his holding it's strength, perhaps intensifying just a little bit more.
SCP said on their site earlier there were no plans to close the bridge during the event.
FOR THOSE ASKING ABOUT A CLOSURE OF THE HALE BOGGS BRIDGE: We DO NOT expect the state to close the bridge at any time during Isaac. The only complete closure of the bridge we have witnessed due to weather has been related to those rare south Louisiana snow storms. IF we receive information that the bridge in fact will close at any point, we will of course post it here.

Somewhat surprised at that because it was said in previous storms that it would be shut down at some point. The SO was having to get a shelter on both sides for us.
