Just talked to daughter that works on ambulance, she is working the patterson area tonight, they are just about to shut them down for the storm, at 45 mohs they don't allow them on the road. she said it's kicking in patterson.
I can't stand watching these newscasts. For days we've been talking about the possibility of Isaac moving right to the coast and stalling while steering currents collapse. Bob is talking about this like it's something brand new.
Isaac will not do what the NHC forecast is calling for.
And this is why I follow this board. Thanks!
Absolutely! This forum is incredible. Been around since the WWL days. So much valuable information you get here, before everyone else.

Serious damage being reported in Grand Isle. Mayor Camardelle is saying "this storm is worst than what it was forecasted be". He says he's been through many storms and this is not a Cat 1. This is worst than a Cat 1.

I was just about to say the same thing! What type of horsepower will that engine have when it closes the loop? I bet it gets bad in a hurry...man, this is looking worse by the minute.

A Cleo friend just facebooked that Cleo is hauling it in too.
Jonathan Myers said that it will not strengthen that much even though its on open waters and is still moving NW at 8mph. He doesn't sound to concerned.
