Just found out my neighbor in Laplace is stuck in his attick. Then heard phone call on WWL Tv about a family on Riverlands stuck in theirs. By my accounts from what I'm hearing a good portion of Laplace has at least 5 feet of water. Unbelievable.
Media should catch on soon.
Do you know how the the first neighborhood off of I-10 when you get off of Belle Terre? My friend lives off of St Andrews on Pine Valley.
Sorry. Haven't heard anything about that neighborhood.
hello, I live on lake pontchartrain east end by rigolets bridge when should we see the highest surge? Water already flowing from lake under house but only a few feet deep. Thanks
not sure if this was answered or not. When listening to WWL radio the question was ask. The answer shocked me, they (NWS) was not sure.

All subdivisions between airline highway and I10 are flooded and continuing to rise. We're getting numerous calls of families stuck on roofs and begging for help. Water is most houses are 5 ft and rising. Places along I10 have 12 to 14 ft.. Water is now covering entire 18 wheelers cabs at the truck stops near 51 and 10
