Has anyone seen any updates or reports on any flooding in Metairie or Kenner from canals overflowing? I know Dylan mentioned something about overflowing and high canals earlier, but I haven't seen any updates. I know the rain has slacked for a bit here now. So, I'm hoping this will give the pumps time to work to get the canals down. I'm just curious if anyone has seen or heard anything about this issue lately. Anyone?

I have not heard nor seen anything from that area yet.
Flash Flood Warnings now in effect for all parishes immediately surround Lake Ponchartrain (St Tammany, Orleans, Jefferson, St. Charles, St. John, Livingston, Tangipahoa and East Baton Rouge)
Saw reports levee breached in guste island neighborhood in madisonville. Search and rescue operations starting...
Wow. If anyone has reports like this...levee breaches, etc., please post b/c TV coverage is very slow. With all the flooding going on in Laplace, I believe I've seen 2 mins of coverage between the channels.
