Personally, you should look into WSV3 instead. 3D isn't all that important, it looks pretty, but it isn't live. WSV3 has near realtime level 3 AND level 2 radar, built in storm tracking system with projected impact times, as well as ability to view all advisories, tropical layers, satellite, model information, and coming soon is marine and buoy obs.

I'm personally would love to purchase this software and I really like all the features this software offers. I still enjoy using GRLevel3 and still is my favorite radar software.

I use both WSV3 and GREarth...both have advantages and disadvantages. If you could take the best of both and put them together as one, it would be the master of all weather applications. WSV3 has beautiful graphics, but to me, GRE and GR3 just has more of a professional feel to it...not to mention are much more stable.
You can get GRE for $15/month with no obligation...so it's pretty cheap just to try it out. WSV3 is $180/year if you don't buy it out right.

Does this $15/Month goes directly to GR or Allison House? I think it runs Allison House right?

Yes...Allisonhouse. The actual GREarth program is free. You can download it right now. It's the service that costs. For $10 more/month, you can add lightning.

Honestly, if you don't have GR3, the quality controlled radar of GRE is pretty darn good when you zoom in.
Nice, I did not know that software is free. I have the software downloaded and I actually forgot that my 7 - days free trial expired. Also, I do have the full version GR3, loved it! On Allisonhouse, they are showing their price for Storm Chaser for $11.99. What's the difference between $11.99 plan and the $15.00 plan?

That Storm Chaser package is for GRLevel3. You'd get Allisonhouse's level 3 feed instead of using the NWS free feed, as well as lightning and other placefiles, most of which are free from other places. So basically, you're paying for the lightning.
The only subscription for GREarth is the one I linked to. That "Maps" subscription on for $14.99 is different from the monthly $15 GRE subscription. The "Maps" subscription is an online based service. For instance if you don't have GRLevel3...it's basically an online version.

Alright thanks for summing it up. I would go for the GREarth $15/mo package which I will get later. Thanks!

The radar on my GRLevel 3 hasn't worked for a couple of days now. Anyone else having a problem?
Mine is working. Stop polling and look at your polling configuration under the File menu. See if you have anything in that blank. If you do, uncheck that box to try the default server. Also, what version are you running?
