New here but I am going on year 2 with my Atlas. Over the 2 years.... at 11 months, the HD display went bad but AcuRite sent a new one quickly. I have a few moments every few weeks where it loses internet connectivity for a few hours and my only other issue has been the rain gauge. It locks up for days at what ever the last rain storm was. No rain now for 5 days and it is stuck at .61
One crazy thunderstorm reported 136 lightening strikes but so did most tv news stations so it did work well. I have a 66’ crank up radio tower and nested it sits 35 feet to the mast. The HD display is really crystal clear, sharp contrast and bright. So far, so good.
I was having second thoughts about buying an Acurite weather station cos I read in some places that they are not durable. But your post has cleared my doubts, so thank you. I had been using Climaell until now, and although I am happy the services, the series of storms this year made me wonder if i should get a weather station for the house. I might go for the Atlas as well, cos it seems well reviewed.
