The GFS and EURO, as they have to do, at some point, are creeping closer together. It is scary for SC, eastern NC, eastern Virginia & Maryland.
Both have Florence stalling, before being pulled NE.
On top of the wind, the rainfall totals are just crazy.
First, the 06z GFS, starting on Wednesday night, and running through the next Tuesday.

Then the EURO, also starting on Wed night, then, each frame is a 24 hour period, running through the next Tuesday

That is hard to wrap the head around. Even these runs are showing 34 and 56 inches...so the bottom line, way too much water is going to be happening, somewhere.

Very scary, as the EURO and GFS, are not that far apart, only a few days away.

I imagine it's way too early for the NWS to be generating storm surge maps...you'll probably have to wait till mid week at least.
