Yes - in Dularge - WAFB reported it - mandatory evacuation for everyone south of the Falgout Canal

Levee they hadn't raised yet is over topping. Parish president was on the news saying they were going to evacuate everyone (or try to) in lower Dularge
I have a cousin down there. I sent him a message waiting to see if he responds. He's previously said he'll never leave for any storm....

If it would’ve have been correct vermillion and Lafayette parish would’ve seen way more rain than east of the basin so far

The nam nailed the track and is way more accurate on the rainfall

I could not be happier at this moment with the SE LA rainfall. No warnings or advisories that I know of. Loooong way to go. Bernard describing potential moisture tail from the central coast to BR tmrw. Every hour we go without significant accumulating rainfall is fantastic. The dry air has also completely overtaken the north half of the state again. Regardless of what happens I will not fault any of the rainfall predictions. This has been a forecast nightmare. Also, NHC nailed the track and intensity despite this . They have been incredible the last 5-10 years. Fingers crossed and I’m smiling.

I tend to agree. I think they are actually more advanced than we know. Not a conspiracy LOL. It takes time to fully trust these new models and technology. They are always on the cautious side. They have officially reduced the cone size I think around 30% maybe 2 or 3 years ago after retrospective study.
