The GFS has been showing development of the wave for a few days now. This morning's stalls it over the Bahamas before sending it out to sea. Last night's EURO went west, starting to deepen it in the western Caribbean. The 00z Canadian also sends it toward the Bahamas as a very strong storm while it shows a trough lifting out, possibly leaving it behind.

I'm not going to post a graphic, here, as I don't want it to be confused, but it would be a strong CAT 4, in the southern gulf, that cuts west to east, across the Florida peninsula. Of course, it will have its own thread, if it continues to show on models.
