Looking at Weather Undergound stations, just a few blocks, made a big difference. In Harahan Oaks, about a 1/3 of a mile west of me, someone is reporting 4.64 inches, pretty close to my reading. Less then a mile north of me, in Hickory Ridge, a very reliable station only had 2.14 inches!

We got just a smidge of rain in Brusly over the weekend. It's not cool yet, but you can tell a change is coming. It's not sweltering anymore. Bring on the cooler weather!

Yea, it went all around me by just a mile or two. It’s been doing that every single time for about two months. I’m starting to get irrationally angry about it, too! LOL
So I guess the front came through the Thibodaux area yesterday as a dry front, not a drop of rain . None at the office in downtown nor any at the house, we really need a little rain, everything is drying up. It’s 68 this morning, not to much of a cold front as it was 68 yesterday morning also.
