So I guess the front came through the Thibodaux area yesterday as a dry front, not a drop of rain . None at the office in downtown nor any at the house, we really need a little rain, everything is drying up. It’s 68 this morning, not to much of a cold front as it was 68 yesterday morning also.
It felt good this morning. This afternoon at the moment still enjoying my pool as it feels hot again. Water is still refreshing. I know this will be the very last week I can swim til next summer most likely.
I hope this next one really feels like fall because this one was not too impressive.
Crazy the difference between the north and south shores. Usually a 10 degree difference for the most part. Pretty confident the north shore will get into the lower 50's this weekend. Hopefully some of that continues to pour south.
I was camping in northern Mississippi earlier this week. On Monday night, I was actually cold and was under blankets and sleeping bags

Maybe I need to move. There really wasn't a difference here in temperature or humidity. wahhhhhh

There is a decent little storm west of BR heading eastward. Fingers crossed for it to come over me and give me an inch or two of rain. We need it so bad because everything has missed us by a mile or so during the last two months. I’m doing my rain dance this morning!

I'm looking out the window at those clouds! Wish I could get a better picture from my office window. It looks pretty impressive.

Have been saying the same thing for months. Don’t look at the latest hrrr if you were hoping to get anything substantial today. Don’t know what is going to break this pattern. we have finally gotten rid of the mid and upper 90’s but now the fronts are drying up as they’re coming through.

One thing at a time. Let's get out of the 90's first! Lol!!

I've never been legitimately angry at the weather before now. I had a structure in my back yard removed recently and had to bring in dirt behind it. I spent $150 on grass seeds and probably another $100 on watering it every few days but I'm ready to stop running the water. I really want the roots to establish well before the first frost kills it.
