Have been saying the same thing for months. Don’t look at the latest hrrr if you were hoping to get anything substantial today. Don’t know what is going to break this pattern. we have finally gotten rid of the mid and upper 90’s but now the fronts are drying up as they’re coming through.
I've never been legitimately angry at the weather before now. I had a structure in my back yard removed recently and had to bring in dirt behind it. I spent $150 on grass seeds and probably another $100 on watering it every few days but I'm ready to stop running the water. I really want the roots to establish well before the first frost kills it.
Yeah I hear you. I went through that with my front yard during one of our summertime droughts a few years ago. Had laid down sod in the front yard and watered it every day, Water bill was easily doubled and tripled for several months. Thought about trying to green up my front yard again but not worth it for $100+ water bills. Scorched earth is the theme this winter.

Lovely day...worked outside. Too bad we didn't get that cloud cover to the west to come this way...it knocked off a good 6-8 degrees on highs over there.

It's only 73 here in BR. I think it was predicted to get a little warmer than that, but it's been cloudy and drippy and raining off and on all day long. Supposed to rain tomorrow, too. We'll see if it gets up to the 83 they're predicting.
And it's cold in my office for the first time in forever. Beats being hot!
