This likely will be gone next run but it's still nice to see something show up and keep an eye on. It was the ICON, I believe, that did so well with one of the systems last year but I can't remember for sure.

The 18Z GFS has something interesting out in la-la land. It shows something developing in the NW Caribbean around June 5th and then takes it into the GOM as a tropical storm. It continues north and by the end of the run has it as a strong TS hitting Florida panhandle. Will have to see if it persists or drops out in next run.

Much weaker and slower on the latest run. I guess we can’t expect much yet with it being only the end of May/beginning of June timeframe. Then of course we’ll have a two-month long dry spell with almost nothing until the gates open the last week of August lol!
