20z HRRR shows the tornadic threat is over from Jackson MS on north. I think the threat is going to be further south than thought. 21z Slidell sounding shows barely any capping with fairly steep lapse rates.

Down drafts from the showers earlier today near the coast might have dried out some the lower atmosphere as showing on the latest sounding from Slidell, but latest HRRR shows strong storms coming through SE LA later this evening.

Thanks man. Good to hear from you. Looks like we’ll see ya quite a bit according to most cane predictions this year. Just changed my Davis anemometer out this afternoon. Perhaps it’s first workout later tonight Lol!
