Close enough for me to be thinking of the fall. Hoping for a bit of consistency with our cooler weather but I know that where we live precludes those type cooler seasons.
Being on the edge of things down here it's extremely difficult to get cold to lock for even a whole week. We will always be on the swing with high amplitude extremes.

Thinking of the Dec 11, 2008 snowmagedon...my front yard....about 2.5 inches. Not bad so close to the lake.....because thr temp never got to freezing I'd estimate it snowed about 4-5 inches with half melting as the rest collected

We'll be in eastern TN the weekend before Thanksgiving...rented a cabin with some friends. Last time I was up there around Thanksgiving, I did get a little snow a the lower elevations. All I'm hoping for this time is a little snow at the upper elevations.

Good luck.....i think they do better mid-late winter for snow but you never know. I'd be happy just to be able to aee my breath in the air each morning, smell the trees, and hear water falling over the rocks
