HURRICANE DELTA Discussion Thread

+1!  If you're in the cone of uncertainty, I'd start now, so you're not hustling to get them up, possibly in a gusting wind, pick all the potential flying bits are laying around your property, prep for, and actually bug out.  The coast will probably start feeling the effects of Delta in a couple of days. 

We put our storm screens up for the first time ever back in early September.  Since the first day of putting them up I was working after work, and having to work by myself, it took two long, hard, hot days to put them up.  Luckily, we got passed up, but it was a good fire drill, and we now KNOW to plan to do the work over at least two days.  We took most of the screens down the following weekend, but left the ones up around the front of the house (mostly in the shade of trees) for now.  We will continue to monitor the situation to see when we finally pull them down.  So far, it's looking like maybe mid-November, but the date is not set in stone.  Hopefully, we don't have to put the others back up!
