For just forecast info, I recommend sticking to NHC website or maybe local news website. This forum, harmless comments and chit chats happen until watches and warnings kick in.

The GFS Parallel runs 6z behind the GFS operational. Maybe one of the meteorologist can weigh in but I believe it is an upcoming upgraded version of the current GFS that is in testing.

The 00Z HWRF looks like it makes Delta’s wind field even larger than on previous runs as well. It’s starting to look like an Ike sized storm.
