Wasn’t Tom Petty one of the most underrated artists lol!?!? I’m not sure this was a blown forecast. We’ll see after the “post mortem” tomorrow lol! Just hope nobody got hurt.
Storm is starting to wuss just a little bit; tornado watch is canceled for my area. Great lightning show though.
Regardless, we'll stand our ground; we won't back down.

LMAO! The guy was soooo good. My band plays some of his stuff. By the way, I ran 5 tonight on the levee. I always go out against the wind so it’s easier to come back with it. It actually wore me out on the way back as it was so strong I had to use different muscle groups to balance and not get “pushed” to fast. Crazy. Saw bikers really working hard against it.

Yeah I literally almost got knocked over this morning. Nola.com states the tornado watch has been extended until 11 PM, but my weather station (Midland) has taken it off, says it has expired after being on most of the day. Odd.

NOLA proper is done for tonight. So am I lol! U certainly got a bicycle workout today my friend!
It's still coming down in torrents here in Algiers. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a good 2-3 inches out of this in my neck of the woods. I want this damn thing to move on outta here.

I’m obviously west of u. Calming down here now. U are next my friend. 1.02 inches thus far on the Davis.

Thanks for the update. Sure enough, starting just now to let up. I appreciate the communication as always! Only an inch? Probably about what I got as well I suppose.

You must have one! Chip has an accurite. We have it hanging on suction cup inside our French door. Works great!
Thanks. It’s coming soon.
The lightning detector is probably my favorite part of my PWS. When we went to bed at 9:30 last night, there had been 669 strikes in just a few hours, with the closest strike being right over us.
“On Christ, the solid Rock I stand. Everything else is just sinking sand.”
It wasn't a full bust with all the supporting data. We had 24 tornado reports from within convective zones. Thankfully it doesn't look like we had any long tracked nader's.
Overall, my lightning detector recorded 702 strikes. It measures out to 25 miles.
