Can someone please tell me what the LRC is looking like for the weekend of April the 9th? Or does it even go out that far? Many thanks and a depth of appreciation in advance!

Zack's April update, from off his FB page, a couple of days ago.

APRIL LRC - Here is the new LRC calendar for the month of April. Note the West Gulf Coast low in week two comes back in early June, that may be one of our first tropical signals of hurricane season. A re-cycle period occurs this month which could throw the dates a little come mid to late month. For those wondering, we are in the December part of the pattern which brings plenty of warmth—with the severe signals mainly going through the Plains as tail end of fronts come down to us and stall. Maybe some heavy rain set ups after Easter? As we get deeper into spring, it gets harder to determine signals so this is probably the last month of a calendar outlook. In May it will be time to look at hurricane season and what areas signal throughout the season. Note - the LRC is not designed to specify exact weather details on certain dates. It shows the big weather events in the cycle.

Zack's update, on April 24
A BIRTHDAY LRC SPECIAL - look it gets hard to “see” certain pieces to the cycle in May as we transition into summer. You still can pick up on a few things within the pattern to mention. Of note, in the middle of May we could see some subtropical mischief off the East Coast…maybe an early named storm. Then you see the end of the month into early June does bring up a west-central Gulf tropical signal. That doesn’t mean it gets named but it wouldn’t surprise me!

MAY LRC - Here are the May thoughts from the LRC, we aren’t done with the cool air just yet! Flip back to stormy arrives in about a week. Then some frontal passages (cooler), Flor’easter might be a May subtropical entity. Tropical signal arrives early June in the Gulf.

It's almost like this Northeast/East Coast Subtropical Low gets so strong and blocks up the pattern for a second. Then look how the GFS is coming around next weekend. It starts matching up pretty perfectly for the end of October just a little late. Amazing stuff... next big piece to the puzzle would be the Flor'Easter.

GFS for next Sunday...
October 28th
Hopefully this would drag what is left of cooler air to our region for a few days?
