The only time I remember her posting was for Ida. I thought she was new and didn’t even realize she was a moderator.

Well, that was my understanding. I was beginning to think I might be the only one in here today that knows that, besides of course the other mods/admins.
Don't know what transpired, not really a concern of mine right now either. When will the next band of weather blow in? That's why I'm here.

I clicked on gris' posts and read the exchange. I only usually read when I'm looking for weather info., but I also did not recognize who that was. Also saw the callouts from members about some misinformation. Not giving an opinion just what I saw and recall.

Sorry Cajungal and T-man. I was just shocked to find out Gris was booted. I’ll stop till this thing is over. Take care and hope y’all don’t get the heavy rain. Love to you both.

I’m liking what I’m seeing so far! Nicholas looks like scrambled eggs this afternoon. Mid-upper level dry air has done a number on the system. Dry air acts like a sponge, helping to hinder consistent thunderstorm development…

We’re not out of the woods with the rainfall threat just yet though across south Louisiana, as system will barely move over the next few days. I’m still concerned w/ potential for heavy rain & flash flooding, especially SE LA/S MS.

As we go into the overnight, watch for convection to re-fire near the circulation and expand across south Louisiana. Localized additional 3-6” rainfall amounts still appear likely though Thursday w/ localized 8-10” hot spots still not out of the question.

That is crazy! I had no idea gris was banned but he is one of the few here who actually know what the hell they're talking about and is a big asset to this forum. He needs to be allowed to come back because without his contributions, this board is less of a resource in times of weather trouble. And I also remember Briella saying something that made me sort of do a double take during Ida - can't remember what it was but my thought was "that's a moderator?". Not knocking her at all, we all make mistakes and say things that aren't correct - especially when a strong category 4 is bearing down on us and our thought process is a bit blurred by stress. I just think whatever gris said should probably be addressed with him through a personal message instead. I understand rules are rules but for some posters, a judgement call should be made in those situations. We were all stressed, worried, and tired during and after Ida. Give him a break and cut him some slack!
