Sky- can you include the radar pictures with the warnings if it is not too much trouble? We are not familiar with named towns' location in NWS' tornado warning reports. Thank you for all you are doing for us, the Stormcast peeps. 💕

Just got the call that my son who normally doesn’t get out til 3:30, they are having us go get our kids by 2. Lots of roof work going on in my neighborhood. Just praying it doesn’t get as bad here. We can’t take anything more in Lafourche or Terrebonne as we all know
Glad I decided to stay in Alexandria and not push back to New Orleans.
Husband is coming home to Thibodaux from manresa retreat in convent this afternoon. Praying he doesn’t get caught in severe weather while driving. Last year hurricane zeta hit on this day, and he barely made it in the door before winds started gusting to tropical storm force.

Quick side note: I took a sabbatical from the forum because like so many I was simply weather saturated. Anyway, I had some PM messages about generators so I’m back answering what I can. I’m really not liking this setup today. Probable storm wind then followed by days of gusts. Tarps will be coming off of many roofs as installation methods and skill varies. One thing I just realized is I’m not getting on any blue roof for tarp repairs the next few days. The region will be dry for quite some time I think and that allows the wind to abate before tarp repair. A roof, wind, and human are never a winning combo. Stay safe today people. I think it’s a day to expect the unexpected.
