From the NWS Mobile discussion. I would love for that to be an actual weather term😂
With and after the cold front`s passage, wrap-around precipitation is expected, mainly along and north of Highway 84 Saturday night into Sunday. There has been concern for winter precipitation mixing in over northern portions of the forecast area. At this time, soundings indicate that temperatures are expected to remain at or a bit above freezing in the lower levels of the atmosphere, limiting any winter precipitation. May see a gee whiz flurry or snow grain over areas along and north of Highway 84 late Saturday night into Sunday before the precipitation moves off if the lower levels of the atmosphere become cold enough. At this point, am leaving out any mention out of the forecast due to chances being very low and no impacts are expected.

Just so you don't think that this is anything new, grown adults getting excited about a few flakes....please look at this. Here is an article, dated 2/28/1855, in the "Daily Picayune". The writer could just have about, written the same during our time! "We have seen and felt the flakes, and have even succeeded in making (a very small) snowball." How bad was it? Well, the record keeping began in 1852...and there is no mention of even a trace, in the official data!
